What payment methods can I use?
You can pay with e-check or credit card through Paypal. We will give you payment instructions when your order is placed. As soon as your payment has been accepted, your order will be processed. We do accept cash for orders placed in person, but please do not send cash through the mail. Checks written on local bank accounts are accepted, but funds will be verified before we begin working on your order. Before you place your order, we will give you an estimated turnaround time for your approval.
Can we combine engraving with the full color items you offer?
YES! In fact many of the items are made even more beautiful by using the combination of the two processes. For example, a full color plaque with an engraved plate commemorating the occasion looks fabulous. Another idea is a piano finish wood box with a full color tile inlay, and an engraved brass plate on the side.
If we give you a logo, can you engrave it or put it on your full color items?
Yes, we can. However it must be camera ready art. Any artwork or logo's which require a large amount of work to make them printable will incur an hourly setup fee. We reserve the right to turn down artwork that we feel is unsuitable.
The items with personal photographs imprinted on them - mousepads, T-shirts, signs, etc. - look like great gifts! If I mail you a snapshot, can you work from that, or do I have to transmit it online?
We can use either snapshots or photos transmitted to us via email. Since we cannot be responsible for photos sent through the mail it would be best to first have a copy made to send to us. We will return the photo with your item when it is completed.
Will you engrave items that we purchased elsewhere?
Yes, we do engrave items purchased elsewhere. We do prefer that if possible you purchase your products from us so we can insure the quality of the product. We trust our distributors and the quality of their items. We cannot guarantee the outcome of engraving on items brought in and purchased from other sources. Also, there is a carry in charge of $6.00 per item if purchased elsewhere. However we cannot put any full color images on items brought in to us. They must come from our distributors to guarantee the outcome.
My friend will be getting married soon and I'm not sure what to purchase for her gift. Can you help with suggestions?
You furnish us with your price range, and we will offer our "personal shopper" services to help with suggestions within that price range. We can give you suggestions and show you photographs which will help you with your decision making. You can also purchase the item before the occasion, and we will engrave it at a later date.
Why don't you offer online ordering with a shopping cart?
With the very personalized nature of most of our products, it would be very difficult to offer online ordering. We feel it is best to add our personal touch to your order by discussing it with you. This way, our customers are offered a more full line of choices, and we can make sure that what they order is what they truly want.
Do you only sandcarve what might be considered "traditional items", such as glass and crystal?
We do offer our sandcarving on all traditional items. However, we love doing custom projects for special customers (and all of our customers are special to us)! Accent Engraving always loves a challenge. Thus far some of the more unique items we have done include sandcarving and paint filling black slate rock, as well as a used aircraft engine turbine to be made into a special retirement gift.
